Everyone who is anyone is everywhere these days - I mean online, with a Facebook page, a Twitter thing, a YouTube channel and all the other hip places that I haven't heard of, so I thought I'd better crack on and at least make a video for YouTube. If any of you have any friends with a slight interest in Cubs and Terriers, I'd be most grateful if you could send them the link to the vid (or point them here) or maybe if you've got a website, any chance you could stick the video on it for me? No such thing as too much publicity....

1st Issue 'Bears' All!

Thought you'd like to meet the new deputy editor on The Cub Mag Team! This little chap is keen to get his paws on the first copy of the magazine - and that one there in the pic, is indeed, the VERY FIRST ROUGH DRAFT. It's just a little snippet for you, a little taster. Hope you like what you see. It's been put before a selected bunch of honest reviewers for thoughts / opinions, and so far, so good.

The Cub Mag at Stafford - come and say hello!

Just thought you'd like to know, The Cub Mag has reached the BIG 'THREE-OH'! Or to put it more simply, we have 30 subscribers already, before the mag has even been launched! The Cub Mag Team is ever so ever so excited and GBC can't wait for the BIG LAUNCH at the Stafford show in April. Be sure to visit the Greystone Enterprises stand and you'll see The Cub Mag Team lurking in the corner - or standing over a hot kettle (little do they know, they'll get a cuppa tea and I'll get the choccy biccies!)

Cubs to be exposed at Lanark! Brrrrrr......

Yep, it's been confirmed that the 'Scottish Cub Fest' has been given a huge space of 12m x 2m to fill at the new Scottish bike show at Lanark in May! That can only be good news as it means that us Cubbers will have the chance to put our bikes in front of the public, and we can chat all day long to like-minded enthusiasts about the highs and lows (not that are many, in fact, are there any?) of Cub ownership. Anyone wishing to put their Cub or Terrier on the stand should contact gbc AT thecubmag.com

Another Cub 'Tail'....

Just received another brilliant Cub story from a chap by the name of Jinx, over in Florida. His association with Tiger Cubs began in his teenage years, and now, just a few years on, Jinx shares his tale of searching for, and finding a 1965 T20SC (Street Competition) model in America. The only problem was, it was nearly a THREE THOUSAND mile round trip to pick it up - Ebay eh!

Was a Cub your first bike? Do you have a story to share - maybe you can beat the 3000 mile trip to purchase a T20? Maybe we'll have to put up a prize for the person who went to the greatest lengths to get their paws on a Tiger Cub or Terrier!

You are not a name, you are a number, a subscriber number...

Well! Isn't it going well! I now have a list of 19 confirmed subscribers - thank you all very much for supporting the idea of The Cub Mag - and I have a list of 11 possible suspects - on the suspect list I've got the names of people who have said casually, just in passing, that they might be tempted to sign up. So I'm asking you guys (do you know who you are???) if any of you wish to be one of the first 30 subscribers - you never know, in the future when the mag takes off, there could be some celebrity profile associated with being one of the first 30...and there might not, of course, but there might be. So, who is going to be NUMBER 20??? And 21 and 22 and 23 and so on..... To convert from a 'suspect' to a 'confirmed' all you need to do is go on to the Cub forum at www.cubsite.com and find the topic about the mag and then add your name, or drop me an email to gbc AT thecubmag.com.
